Developing a Business
When Olme and I first decided to create Al Suave Cafe back in 2021, the only thing we knew is we wanted to share the flavors and culture of El Salvador with our family and friends, here in the United States. Sure we knew we had a lot to learn, but we’ve always sided on the principle of “learn by doing”. That’s how we crafted our relationship, buying our first home, and raising two fur babies. What we didn’t realize was that we were going to create, in the first month, a company that is even more than premium cups of coffee. We unlocked a fun, supportive, energetic community through Al Suave. The joy of directly delivering our beans to each of our community members has allowed us to create a space to share and engage. Olme has been working from home, in our basement, in front of a screen, for quite sometime. Having Al Suave encourages a powerful change. This company is not only important for those to who we deliver but for our own social well-being, as well. We feel so fortunate to share our delicious beans with the community and continue to foster its growth. Who could have guessed delivering beans, taking 5 second videos, and smiling while dancing could be the secret sauce to developing the best community in the coffee business?
